The reverse Krillion
Noillirk — the reverse Krillion, where the obvious answer wins
Noillirk flips Krillion’s scoring upside down. Same kind of open prompts, opposite objective: here you are not hunting for the answer nobody else thought of, you are hunting for the answer everybody thought of. Ten prompts, 30 seconds each, and after every guess the board shows its top five — and where you landed on it.

How Noillirk scoring works
- #1 Answer The answer most people give
- 100
- Runner-up Second or third on the board
- 75
- Top 5 In the board’s top five
- 50
- Top 10 Made the top ten
- 25
- Off the Board Right, but few people said it
- 10
In Krillion a unique answer is the jackpot. In Noillirk a unique answer is the worst possible outcome — being off the board still pays 10, but a board-topping answer pays ten times that.
Base points are only half the story. Questions 3 to 5 of a Daily count twice, 6 to 8 three times, and 9 and 10 four times — so a #1 Answer late in the run is worth 400, not 100. Ten of them make a perfect Daily of 2,500, and every 25 points pulls one of the hundred spectators over to your tile.
How to play in 30 seconds
- 1
Read the prompt, and do not be clever. The clever answer is the one nobody else gives — and in this game that is the losing answer.
- 2
Answer with the most predictable reply you can think of — the one a stranger would say, not the one you are proudest of.
- 3
Watch the board. Your rank decides the score, so the only thing worth optimising after you type is whether you can name something even more obvious.
- 4
Reset and repeat, keeping your answers boring. Length, spelling and wit do not matter; how many people would say it does.
Noillirk vs Krillion — which one are you playing?
| Krillion | Noillirk | |
|---|---|---|
| What you’re hunting | The answer nobody else gives | The answer everybody gives |
| Best score | One in a Krillion (100) | #1 Answer (100) |
| Failure mode | Being obvious | Being original |
| Skill it tests | Second-layer association | Reading the average person |
If you keep landing on Deep Cut answers but lose the run on one obvious prompt, you already have the instinct for both games — the difference is only which side of it you are asked to use.
Noillirk answers and scores
Noillirk never publishes a board in full, so there is no answer list to hand you — and we will not invent one. What the game does publish is everything else.
- What’s public, and what wins a board → — the bands, the multipliers, and how to read the crowd.
- What every Daily scored → — the average, the full histogram and the perfect-run rate, day by day.
Noillirk FAQ
What is Noillirk?
A free daily game that is the inverse of Krillion: you are rewarded for giving the answer most people would give, not the rarest one. Ten prompts, 30 seconds each, and a prepared board of 100 answers behind every prompt.
Is Noillirk the same as reverse Krillion?
Yes. “Reverse Krillion” is what players called it when it first appeared; the game itself is called Noillirk — which is Krillion spelled backwards.
Why is Noillirk spelled with two L’s in the middle?
Because the name is “Krillion” reversed — Noi-llirk. Noilirk and Nollirk are the usual misspellings.
Is Noillirk free?
Yes — free to play, no account required. The Unlimited mode, which gives you more than the daily ten, is free too.
How long is a Noillirk round?
Ten prompts at up to 30 seconds each — five minutes of play at most, plus a few seconds of reveal after every guess. Answer faster and the round finishes sooner.
Does Noillirk have an archive?
Yes — the game keeps every Daily at noillirk.com/archive, and replays work. It publishes the ten questions for each day but not the boards, so nobody can hand you an answer list: the game never shows more than the top five, and only after a guess. What it does publish per day — the player count, the average and the full score spread — we keep at what each day scored.
Is this the official Noillirk site?
No. The official game is at noillirk.com; this is an independent companion site with no affiliation.
Can I play Noillirk on my phone?
Yes. It runs in a phone browser with no install, and the answer box stays above the on-screen keyboard for the whole run.
Where can I play the original Krillion?
On our Krillion page, with the rules and the tier table explained — or straight at krillion.io.
How does Noillirk decide what the top ten is?
Every prompt has a board: a prepared estimate, made in advance, of how 100 people would respond — from the most common answer down to the tenth. Where your answer sits on that board sets its band. It is not a live count of other players, which is why the game marks it “est.”, and why you only ever see the top five after a guess.
